"AOAO SAPPORO" will open in 2023 as the central facility of "moyuk SAPPORO", a complex commercial facility facing Tanukikoji Shopping Street, a 3-minute walk from Sapporo Municipal Subway "Odori Station" and a 1-minute walk from Sapporo Tram "Tanukikoji Station". It will open on Thursday, July 20 (opening at the same time as "moyuk SAPPORO").

Under the theme of “The Wonder of Life: Seeing the Invisible”, we aim to create an exhibition facility where you can feel the diversity of the earth through observing the workings of living things.

The aquarium consists of three zones, in addition to exhibiting creatures such as penguins, the backyard behind the aquarium is open to the public, digital art that makes you feel as if you are in the vast ocean world, and rich tropical greenery. We offer a complex experience related to the relationship between people and water, such as a mini-botanical garden that flourishes in nature.

Now that attention is focused on the importance of the global environment, "AOAO SAPPORO" will create a place where you can once again feel the splendor of waterside creatures and nature as an entrance to the nature in the city. .
