The Museum of Modern Art, MoMA, MoMA Design Store (operated by Chiyoda-ku), will start selling three types of "Drumming Girl" figures with art motifs by artist Yoshitomo Nara from December 28, 2020. Limited release.

A figure that expresses the aesthetics of Yoshitomo Nara. It is a design that makes you feel a deep connection with punk rock while being pure and cute.
Yoshitomo Nara, who has many works in the MoMA collection, also works on album covers for Japanese girl band "Shonen Knife". This figure was influenced by those works and was produced by Hong Kong maker how2work. Comes in a special box.
Numbered tickets will be distributed at the MoMA Design Store Omotesando, Kyoto, and Shinsaibashi before the sale on December 28 (Monday), so please keep a distance according to the staff's instructions.
We will give a numbered ticket to all those who line up within the set time, so please refrain from lining up early in the morning. If the number exceeds the planned number, it will be a lottery.

About Yoshitomo Nara
Born in Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture in 1959. Entered the Düsseldorf Academy of Arts in Germany in 1988, and even after graduating, produced works based in Cologne. After returning to Japan in 2000, he has been energetically presenting at exhibitions in Japan and overseas. One of Japan's leading artists who fascinates people all over the world through various works such as paintings and drawings depicting children and animals that leave an unforgettable impression at first glance, as well as sculptures and large-scale installations.
