(Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yukio Arai), will host a special tasting event, "The Banquet Story: Sichuan Paradise Dinner Course," by head chef Koji Yamada, at the Sichuan restaurant "Tougenkyo" on the 4th floor of the hotel for three days from June 26th (Fri) to June 28th (Sun), 2026.
At this tasting event, Chef Yamada of "Sichuan Cuisine Tougenkyo" will present an 8-course meal in which he has poured his years of cultivated skills and gratitude to his customers into each dish. Dishes such as "Shrimp in Sichuan Chili Sauce with Golden Baron Potatoes and Homemade Mala Sauce Salad" and "Hokkaido Wagyu Beef Cooked at Low Temperature in Oyster Sauce" will showcase the best of each ingredient, allowing you to enjoy the flavors woven from Hokkaido's abundant ingredients and the techniques of authentic Sichuan cuisine. Sapporo Park Hotel, which has walked hand in hand with the community for over 60 years since its opening in 1964, will close its doors on February 28, 2027. With gratitude for the patronage we have received over the years, we will welcome our guests with the words "Thank you, one by one," and will be working on various projects leading up to the grand finale.

He joined Sapporo Park Hotel in April 1996. After becoming head chef of the Sichuan restaurant Tougenkyo in 2018, he was appointed head of the Chinese cuisine department at Sapporo Park Hotel in 2020, a position he holds to this day.

Sapporo Park Hotel
Sapporo Park Hotel opened in July 1964 amidst the lush greenery of Nakajima Park. As a city resort hotel where guests can rediscover themselves and shine, and as a social hub and convention hotel in the international city of Sapporo, it has achieved numerous accomplishments that meet the demands of the globalization era.
