Singapore Airlines operates seasonal scheduled flights to Sapporo (New Chitose)

Singapore Airlines Japan Branch operates seasonal scheduled flights between Sapporo (New Chitose) and Singapore for a limited time from November 30, 2019 to January 7, 2020.

In order to meet the increasing demand for tourists to Hokkaido, 38 round trips between Sapporo and Singapore are planned during the period, which is the highest number of flights operated during one winter season. Airbus A330-300 with 30 business class seats and 255 economy class seats will be used, and over 20,000 seats will be supplied during the period. Singapore Airlines will start its regular scheduled flights between Sapporo and Singapore in 2014 and will be operating for the sixth year this year.

Prior to this, in July 2019, Singapore Airlines and Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) signed a memorandum of understanding to promote tourism from five major cities (Singapore, Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia) to Japan.
