Sapporo Prince Hotel (Location: Minami 2-jo Nishi 11-chome, Chuo-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido; General Manager: Seiji Izumi) will be offering "Sokei," a sky afternoon tea themed around the "blue" scenery of Hokkaido, at its "Sky Lounge Top of Prince" overlooking the Sapporo cityscape, from July 1st (Wed) to August 31st (Mon), 2026.
Hokkaido offers a variety of captivating shades of blue.
This "Afternoon Tea in the Sky" features sweets inspired by iconic Hokkaido landscapes such as Biei's Blue Pond, the sea of Shakotan, and the clear waters of Lake Mashu, as well as flavors unique to Hokkaido, such as haskap berries and lavender.
The top tier features four types of sweets with striking blue gradients, including jellies and mousses inspired by the sea and lakes. The middle tier offers three refreshing sweets made with ingredients from Hokkaido, while the bottom tier features savory items such as canapés. A non-alcoholic cocktail with a vibrant blue-green color is served as a welcome drink, creating an elegant tea time where you can enjoy the Hokkaido summer with all your senses, along with the spectacular view from the 28th floor.
