NoMaps2025, a festival from Sapporo, Hokkaido that brings tech, entertainment, and creativity to the world / Program details for the 10th anniversary have been revealed

Last year's NoMaps2024 featured 209 projects at 49 venues, attracting a total of 75,837 visitors from Japan and abroad over five days. NoMaps2025, marking its 10th anniversary, will be held in September this year.

This year's theme is "LOSS LESS FUTURE."
Sapporo is back for five days where you're sure to find something that catches your eye!

"NoMaps2025" is a city-wide festival of technology, entertainment, and creativity held in Sapporo, Hokkaido.

The 10th anniversary of the event will be held in 2025, spanning five days from September 10th (Wed) to 14th (Sun). A wide variety of programs, including talk sessions, live performances, exhibitions, and meetups, will be held at approximately 50 venues scattered throughout central Sapporo.

The main programs of 15 categories and collaborative projects are published in the tabloid

A 12-page tabloid that condenses the "NoMaps2025" program will be released online in advance. It will begin to be distributed nationwide as a tabloid from August.

This year's lineup includes categories such as "CONFERENCE," which invites a variety of guests from around the country to hold talk sessions on the evolution of technology such as AI and changes in society and business ; "SOCIAL," which brings together a variety of players working to solve social issues in Hokkaido, a place long known as a pioneer in addressing social issues; and "WELLNESS," which provides a space to make health more fun and accessible through the four themes of "moving, talking, learning, and staying healthy."

In addition, new categories such as "FOOD," which promotes Sapporo and Hokkaido to the world as a "cutting-edge food region," "EXECUTIVE," "TECH," and "GOVERNMENT" have been added this year. Also, noteworthy programs include "FUTURE THEATER," which utilizes generative AI in theater programs.

"FUTURE THEATER" utilizes generative AI in theater programming

This groundbreaking competition will feature Figure Art Theater (also known as puppetry art) using puppets, masks, and shadow puppets, along with video creations using cutting-edge AI generation technology. In addition to the artists' own creations, participants will compete based on their own experiences, allowing the audience to compare and relive the experiences together. Various passports now on sale

"Passports" are also on sale, allowing you to fully enjoy the diverse programs held throughout downtown Sapporo.

We have also launched new passport options for people visiting Sapporo from outside Hokkaido, including the "Diamond Passport," which allows you to participate in special programs exclusive to business owners, and the "Passport with Hotel," which includes a hotel stay.
