The popular British play "The Importance of Being Earnest," based on the novel by Oscar Wilde, is now available to watch in Japanese cinemas! It is currently being shown to rave reviews in Tokyo, and it has now been decided that it will be screened in Sapporo and Nagoya in the future.
While many people are eagerly waiting for the highly acclaimed NTLive movie "The Importance of Being Earnest" to be screened in Sapporo and Nagoya, it has finally been decided that the movie will be screened at Sapporo Cinema Frontier and Midland Square Cinema in Nagoya from Friday, May 30th. In addition, due to the popularity of the movie in Tokyo, it has been decided to extend the screening period at Cine Libre Ikebukuro.
NTLive's The Importance of Being Earnest is a stage production that has become a hot topic in the UK, featuring a star-studded cast including Tuti Gatto, who played the Doctor in the well-known British series Doctor Who, and Sharon D. Clarke, who has won the Laurence Olivier Award three times (and was nominated for an Olivier Award for Best Supporting Actress this year for this production).
Enjoy watching the much talked about British stage production at the cinema without leaving Japan.

A super silly comedy for super serious people!

story:
Being conventional can also be excessively boring. At least, that's how Jack sees it. In the country he is a dutiful guardian, but in the city he lives a life of freedom under false pretenses, as does his friend Algernon. But this double life has its downsides – when it comes to falling in love. In an attempt to impress two attractive women, they find themselves in a situation where they must navigate their way through a web of lies without getting caught up in it!!
