An agricultural career event connecting people hoping to start farming with agricultural professionals in Hokkaido will be held at Hotel Polestar Sapporo on Saturday, March 8th.
The Hokkaido Agricultural Public Corporation, a public interest incorporated foundation, and Hokkaido will be holding the Hokkaido New Farmers Fair on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at the Polestar Hall on the 2nd floor of Hotel Polestar Sapporo, where people who wish to start farming, people looking for agricultural experience, people who have left urban areas and are interested in rural areas, and people who are new to farming can receive consultations about starting farming.

The Agriculture Fair is an event where 51 organizations (55 cities, towns, and villages) from across Hokkaido gather to casually obtain information about agriculture, such as how to get started in agriculture and the path to becoming a farmer, from agricultural representatives.
If you are aiming to become a farmer, please visit the farming consultation booth. Not only can you hear specific details about support systems and subsidies from local representatives, but you can also hear about the experiences of people who have started farming and ask any questions you may have, helping you get closer to your dream of becoming a farmer.
In addition, if you have any concerns about agriculture in general, such as "I'm interested in agriculture, but I don't know where to start," or "I want to receive training, but I don't know who to ask," please come to the consultation booth. Agricultural employment coordinators from the Hokkaido Agricultural Public Corporation, a public interest incorporated foundation, will provide thorough guidance.
