“Kiku Hiroba in Chi-Ka-Ho” will be held in the underground walking space in front of Sapporo Station!

Go to Chi Ka Ho on January 20th (Sat) & 21st (Sun)♪

In Hokkaido, all people, including children, are promoting “Mokuiku,'' an initiative to “interact with trees, learn from trees, and live with trees.'' The word “Kiiku'' embodies the desire to cultivate a rich mind that allows children to think independently about the relationship between people, trees, and forests through the use of trees from childhood.

We will be holding a "Tree Education Square in Chi-Ka-Ho" with the aim of making Hokkaido's wood education widely known to the people of Hokkaido.
We offer a variety of content that allows you to experience Hokkaido's forests and trees, including woodworking experiences, wood education workshops, and an exhibition corner where you can have fun learning about trees.
On the day of the event, the first 30 people each day who follow Hokkaido's mokuiku (wood education) SNS (Facebook, Instagram, or X (formerly Twitter)) will receive a "wooden smartphone holder" as a gift.
We will also carry out "Green Funds"/"Limited Funds for Recovery Support (Earthquake Disaster)" activities that will be used to support areas affected by the 2020 Noto Peninsula Earthquake.

For details, please see the attached flyer or the website below.
We look forward to seeing many of you.
