Jointly held with the Hokkaido Space-related Business Creation Collaboration Conference
How will Hokkaido change with Spaceport? Space industry and regional revitalization
Taiki-cho (main office: Taiki-cho, Hiroo-gun, Hokkaido, mayor Masato Sakamori) and SPACE COTAN Co., Ltd. achieved the first year target of corporate version hometown tax payment and regional revitalization of the Cabinet Office on Friday, May 20, 4th year of the Ordinance. Hokkaido Spaceport (HOSPO), which has been adopted for the base maintenance grant project and will enter the stage of full-scale maintenance from this year, will hold a talk event to talk about what will bring to the Hokkaido economy and regional revitalization. It will be held jointly with the 1st Hokkaido Space-related Business Creation Collaboration Conference in FY2004.
Utilization of space is said to be the key driver of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and it is a growing industry that is drawing attention in the world. It is required to create a spaceport in Hokkaido that supports rocket launch and artificial satellite business as an infrastructure for the space business, and to strongly promote the agglomeration of the space industry (formation of the space version of Silicon Valley) throughout Hokkaido. For the future of Hokkaido and the future of Japan, it is necessary to take on challenges with many companies and organizations in all Hokkaido.
In this talk session, Ikuko Nakagawa, a member of the House of Representatives elected from Tokachi, will be invited to take advantage of the asset of "Spaceport" and how the national government, roads, and local governments will work together to create regional revitalization. I would like to talk about your thoughts and future vision. We apologize for the inconvenience, but thank you for your participation.
