The newly built guest room with sauna and private sauna will be located on the top floor of the hotel, 45m above ground. The walls of the sauna room have large glass windows, so you can sweat while gazing at the spectacular view. The water bath and outdoor air bath chairs are placed on the terrace, and you can leave your whole body while feeling the comfortable breeze and "toto" to your heart's content.
This new sauna is supervised by TTNE, a brand specializing in saunas and producing saunas. An original sauna bench with beautiful curves is created for the private sauna "sauno a room". The curve fits the human body and is finished so that you can rest without stress. In this room where you can self-routing, we have 3 types of sauna fragrances: citrus, birch and berry. You can enjoy adjusting the temperature and humidity to your liking in the completely reserved sauna. At the end of the sauna, we have 4 kinds of drinks for each person, including premium carbonated water from Yamazaki, which is known as the birthplace of whiskey.
Furthermore, on the same day, the restaurant "Kuksa" was newly opened. "Kuksa" is a restaurant that only guests in rooms with saunas and rooms with hot spring baths can enter. Starting from a small entrance reminiscent of the entrance of a tea room, you can spend quality time away from the hustle and bustle in a private space where you can enjoy the feeling of "sneaking".

"Saunoa" is a Finnish word that means "enter the sauna". As the name suggests, it is a private room for saunas seeking "Totonoi". Sofas and floors are made of materials that can be wet, so you can relax comfortably and stress-free until the time you get out of the sauna, whether you are wearing a swimsuit or not. 14 spacious rooms of 80㎡ are newly established on the valley side on the 11th to 13th floors.
Jozankei Onsen is drawn to the observation bath with large windows, so you can enjoy the hot springs at any time. This is the only room where you can enjoy the hot springs in our hotel room. Jozankei's sodium chloride spring is a popular hot spring that "does not cool" because salt adheres to the skin and prevents heat dissipation.
Restaurant "Kuksa"
"Kuksa" is a mug made of birch that has been handed down from ancient times in Scandinavia, and is a traditional craft with the legend that the recipient will be happy. We named it with the idea that "Happiness will come to our customers."
"Kuksa" is a completely private dining room that only guests with hot spring baths and rooms with saunas can enter. We offer seasonal kaiseki meals that the chef is proud of, using ingredients that are rare in Hokkaido, such as vinegared dishes seasoned with homemade pickled plums and homemade pickles of yacon.

Three years ago, I had a plan to renovate the Toyako Manseikaku Hotel Lakeside Terrace with an open-air water bath. The open-air bath was quite normal for me as a shift bath enthusiast, but when I was skeptical and began to feel anxious, I met my master. We asked the master about the depth of the sauna, the size of the skirt, and the love of the sauna, and asked the master to produce it, so I felt that a synergistic effect would be created for each of the sauna and the open-air bath. I also remember that my anxiety disappeared all at once by taking the sauna together and following the sauna path. After the opening, the number of visitors to the sauna increased day by day, and I witnessed the spread on SNS, and everyone was uniformly surprised at the centripetal force and sustainability of the sauna.
