"Disney on Classic-Mahou no Yoru Ongakukai 2021" is a concert for adults that presents Disney animations, movies, and theme park music with live orchestra and vocalists. This year, which marks the 19th time, the Disney / Pixar movie "Remember Me" will be featured under the theme of "Love that follows Towa". Starting from September 18th (Sat) to 20th (Monday / holiday) at Shinjuku Bunka Center (Shinjuku Ward), there will be 51 performances and 33 cities for about 3 months until December 26th (Sun). The nationwide tour around Shinjuku has finally begun!
The first part starts with "Disney Music Parade Game Theme Song" which is performed in the orchestra for the first time. Along with the video of running through Disney works on a magical train, the opening will be lively with the performance unique to the orchestra such as the fanfare of brass instruments and the production of colorful moving lights.
"Ultimate Princess Celebration", a Disney princess festival with the theme of "courage and kindness". In the Japanese version of the theme song "Starting Now ~ To New Me", female singers will sing a powerful message from the princesses, led by Motomi Makino.
In the <POWER OF MUSIC> section, we will deliver three songs that sing the thoughts of the main characters, such as hope, love, and aspiration.
"Go the Distance" from "Heracles", where Hiroshi Shikano's laid-back singing voice echoes throughout the venue.
"Proud of Your Boy" from the Broadway musical version "Aladdin" sung by Yoshiaki Shindo, who vows to his mother the way he should go, and "Time is eternal" from the live-action version "Beauty and the Beast" In "Ni", Motomi Makino sings the feelings of the main character Bell, who is full of the warmth of love.
The final gift from Part 1 is "Tapestry of Nation" and "We Go On" from Walt Disney World Resort Epcot, Florida. "Tapestry of Nation" is a parade song that was performed at Walt Disney World in Florida until 2001, and it is a song that you can feel the liveliness and sparkle of life. Also, don't miss the exciting footage created by Walt Disney Animation Studios, sprinkled with concept art and sketches, specially produced for this concert. In "We Go On", where the orchestration and chorus are beautiful, Ayaka Oki's warm singing voice gently envelops the venue.
The second part is a full-length performance of the Disney / Pixar movie "Remember Me".
Yohei Sugawara sings "Remember Me" sung by Delacruz as a charismatic musician.
In "Crossing the Marigold Bridge," which is impressive even in the play, the soft tone of the marimba leads to the other side of the marigold bridge. A song that invites you to the world in animation, as if you were really crossing a bridge, with soothing rich music and screen images.
In "Un Poco Loco," Noriko Matsubara expresses Miguel, the main character, who first learned the joy of singing in public. In the song, the orchestra and vocalists clapping their hands to liven up the venue.
"Remember Me" sung by Delacruz, "Remember Me" sung by Hector with his little daughter Coco, and "Remember Me" sung by Miguel with Mama Coco. Please enjoy "Me".
