The "Snow Miku Time Signal" that plays in downtown Sapporo has been revamped!
The five new lines were chosen through a public contest!
Crypton Future Media, Inc. (Headquarters: Sapporo, Hokkaido; Representative Director: Hiroyuki Ito; hereinafter referred to as Crypton) is pleased to announce that the "Snow Miku Time Signal," which has been broadcast daily at the COCONO SUSUKINO, a multi-purpose commercial complex in Sapporo, Hokkaido, since its opening in 2023, has been renewed as of Monday, June 8, 2026.
The new "Snow Miku Time Signal" features Snow Miku (Hatsune Miku), a character supporting Hokkaido, speaking five lines chosen through a public contest. The time signal will be broadcast five times a day (8am/12pm/3pm/5pm/7pm) at a landmark facing a major intersection in downtown Sapporo, a place visited by many people from both Japan and abroad.
If you're near "COCONO SUSUKINO," be sure to check out Snow Miku on the outdoor digital board that displays the time.
*The "Snow Miku Time Signal" will air for approximately 30 seconds, starting about 15 seconds before each scheduled time. (For example, the 8:00 broadcast will air from 7:59:45 to 8:00:15.)

Hatsune Miku is a character created by Crypton Future Media, Inc. to support Hokkaido. She was born in 2010 when a pure white snow sculpture of Hatsune Miku ( https://piapro.net/pages/character ) was made for the Sapporo Snow Festival. Currently, she serves as an ambassador for various initiatives to liven up Hokkaido, and is expanding her support in many directions through collaborations with companies and characters. In addition, the "SNOW MIKU" festival, in which Snow Miku takes center stage, is held every year in Hokkaido, and the costume design for Snow Miku that she wears at the festival is decided by public competition each year based on a theme. The theme for the 2027 costume is "Secret☆Metamorphosis". She has also been active as a Sapporo Tourism Ambassador since September 2024.

The project aims to create and implement initiatives that allow all those who love Hokkaido to connect with the region in a relaxed way, and to contribute to the future of the area.
