What is the "Hokkaido e-Water Project" for which Snow Miku serves as an ambassador?
The "Hokkaido e-Water Project" is a project to protect Hokkaido's water environment, with the aim of protecting Hokkaido's abundant and beautiful natural environment, centered on water, and passing it on to the next generation. Based on the "Partnership Agreement on Environmental Conservation" concluded between Hokkaido and Hokkaido Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd. in November 2009, the project is being undertaken in collaboration between Hokkaido, the Hokkaido Environment Foundation, and Hokkaido Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd.
"Snow Miku" will be the character that supports Hokkaido and will be the ambassador for the project in April 2024. The "Snow Miku vending machine" that was recently installed uses an illustration created for the project by illustrator Fukahire when he was appointed ambassador.
A portion of the sales of "I LOHAS Natural Mineral Water 540 PET and 950 PET" purchased in Hokkaido has been donated to the "Hokkaido e-Water Project" to support activities to protect the water environment, and "Snow Miku Vending Machines" also sell "I LOHAS Natural Mineral Water 540 PET," which leads to donations. To commemorate the installation, an unveiling ceremony and event will be held! "Snow Miku" will also be appearing!
To commemorate the installation of the "Snow Miku vending machine," an unveiling ceremony was held at Moyuku Sapporo yesterday, Wednesday, October 16th. The ceremony began at 10:00 a.m. and featured Moyuku Sapporo General Management Association Chairman Masahiko Kubota, Hokkaido Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd. Managing Director Yusuke Yamada, and our company's CEO Ito, along with Snow Miku, the ambassador for the Hokkaido e-Water Project. With spectators and the media watching, everyone pulled down the curtain on the "Snow Miku vending machine," unveiling it for the first time.
After the unveiling ceremony, an event was held where original Coke ON tickets*1 were distributed to the first 400 customers who purchased "I LOHAS Natural Mineral Water 540 PET" from the "Snow Miku Vending Machine." Snow Miku made another appearance during this event, livening up the atmosphere.

A "character supporting Hokkaido" developed by Crypton Future Media, Inc. It was born when a "pure white snow sculpture of Hatsune Miku (https://piapro.net/pages/character)" was created at the Sapporo Snow Festival in 2010. Since then, the "SNOW MIKU" festival, starring Snow Miku, has been held every year in Hokkaido. Currently, she serves as an ambassador for various initiatives to enliven Hokkaido, and is expanding her support in many areas, including collaborating with companies and characters. The Hokkaido e-Water Project is a three-way collaboration between Hokkaido, the Hokkaido Environment Foundation, and Hokkaido Coca-Cola Bottling, based on the Partnership Agreement on Environmental Conservation concluded in November 2009 between Hokkaido and Hokkaido Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd., with the aim of protecting Hokkaido's rich and beautiful natural environment, especially its water, and handing it over to the next generation. A portion of the sales of Hokkaido natural water "I LOHAS Natural Mineral Water" 540ml PET and "I LOHAS Natural Mineral Water" 950ml PET sold by Hokkaido Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd. will be donated to the Hokkaido Environment Foundation to support the activities of organizations and river basin networks working on waterside environmental conservation activities in various regions of the prefecture. The project will mark its 15th year in 2024, and the total number of organizations supported to date, including this year, has reached 197.
