Koji Kurotani continues to be active in the front lines of the Japanese art world.
From masterpiece work to drawing, ceramics and glass works, the locus of Kuroya art is released at once!
This exhibition will show representative works from early to the present of Koji Kuroya, as well as drawing, ceramics and glass works, trying to imitate the full range of the various activities of this painter.
A magnificent work of a huge screen which visualized a new work on Kyoto as a theme, a masterpiece depicting Hokkaido, and the worldview of Kuroya work was also exhibited, and it is a unique opportunity to enjoy the art of Kuroya.
On Sunday, January 13, 2019, we hold a family program "Let's draw with Afresco".
You can join with the elementary school kids and parents.
Participant application is now being accepted. Deadline is December 24, 2018 (Mondays · Weekends) Required.

Koji Kuroya ( Koji Koji , born in 1943)
After going to Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and deepening Afresco (Mural Painting Technique) further in Italy, after returning home, he won the Yasui prize, the youngest of the painters of the past, at the youngest age. Using a variety of techniques, established unique style full of energy. In 1997, he created original paintings for the Nagano Winter Olympics and posters. In 2008 he set up public art on the walls of Shibuya station, and in 2014 he was elected as a cultural contributor and also has extensive activities to connect art and society .
