It has been a while since Tsudome became the second venue of the festival. This venue offers a variety of snow attractions for children and adults; such as, long slide made of snow and snow rafting.

The Tsudome facility offers food court named “Hokkaido Umaimono Street” where visitors can enjoy local foods. In addition, there are rest area and Family Hiroba where kids can play. Hope you enjoy great local foods of winter Hokkaido.

TubeSlider

Snow Tubing

It can be enjoy by everyone. Elevation difference is 10 meters, and the length is 100 meters. It is intended for 4-year-old or older person. There are six lanes.

IceSlide

Ice Slide

5-meter high, 12-meter long ice slide intended for children of 4 years old or older. One more lane is added since the “Family Lane” on which 2 persons can slide together became very popular. There are four lanes in total.

WakuWakuSlider

Waku-waku Slider

Lanes for sled and tube. Two lanes 8-meter high and 50-meter long are for sled and intended for 4-year-old or older person. Another two lanes are 4-meter high and 20-meter long, designed for tandem tube of pair of adult and child.

Snowrafting

Snow Rafting

A snowmobile tows the raft in the snowfield. There is no age restriction.

Adult 600 yen/Elementary school students and younger children: 400 yen

Waku-waku Tappy Land

Snow play ground for little kids. Close at 16:00. (Offered by Higashi-ku Snow Festival Welcome Council)

BambooSkiing

Bamboo Skiing

Bamboo skiing intended for elementary school students and younger children. Close at 16:00. Available from Fri. Feb.5 to Thurs. Feb.11. (Offered by Higashi-ku Snow Festival Welcome Council & Satsunae Machidzukuri Committee)

Snow Strider

Snow Strider (ski-equipped strider which is a new type of bike runs by kicking the ground) is intended for 2 to 6-year-old children. Close at 16:00. Available from Sat. Feb. 13 to Thurs. Feb. 18.

SnowZip-Line

Snow Ziplines

6-meter high, 80-meter long ziplines above snowfield. There are two lanes. Safety harness must be on. Adult: 1000 yen, Elementary school children or younger: 700 yen. Intended for 4-year-old or older person whose weight is less than 100kg.

SnowmanLabyrinthWonderland

Snowman Labyrinth Wonderland

A big maze made with 60cm-high walls. Visitors put little snowmen on the walls, and it will gradually become the snowman labyrinth.

Park Golf on Snow

Rental equipment: 300yen/person (Registration closes at 16:00)

Snow Festival Ice Cafe

You can make your own ice glass here! The cafe offers soft drinks and alcoholic drinks. Please enjoy your drink in your handmade ice glass.

It is available on Sat., Sun., and holidays, 10:00-16:00.

Snowball Challenger

Throw snowballs at the target! Win a prize at the competition that is held 1 time/day on weekdays and 3 times/day on Sat., Sun., and holidays.

SnowObjectContest

Snow Object Contest

Snow sculpture contest of students from the fine art club of Ishikari branch of Hokkaido Senior High School Cultural Federation will be held on Friday February 5, from 8:30 to 15:00. Visitors can see moments of their creation. There will be 18 sculptures, and each snow block is 3-meter high, 3-meter wide, and 3-meter deep.

Tsudome Kitchen Street offers great local foods of Hokkaido. There are various types of food shops including ramen shops. Available from Fri. Feb. 5 to Thurs. Feb. 11 (holiday).

Hokkaido Winter Gourmet Festival (inside)

Local foods of Hokkaido are offered in the following events;

  1. Sapporo Ramen Festival: Event of ramen restaurants opened within past five years or ramen restaurants whose owner is in their 30s. Fri. Feb. 12 – Sun. Feb. 14.
  2. Hokkaido Local Food Festival: Offers local dishes made with local ingredients. Fri. Feb. 12 – Thurs. Feb. 18
  3. Hokkaido Hotpot Festival: Offers Hokkaido’s local hotpot dishes. There will be five to six types of hotpot dishes available at reasonable prices. Mon. Feb. 15 – Thurs. Feb. 18
