Setsubun in 2026 will be on Tuesday, February 3rd.
The Sapporo Grand Hotel's hotel shop, "The Bakery & Pastry," offers "Ehomaki" (sushi rolls) to bring good fortune during Setsubun.<\/p>\n

In addition to ehomaki rolls made with nine different ingredients, including seafood such as bluefin tuna, salmon, snow crab, sweet shrimp, and sea bream, this year we are also introducing the easy-to-eat "ehomaki half." We offer two types, one with simmered beef and one with eel, in easy-to-eat sizes. Also recommended for those with a sweet tooth is the "ehomaki roll," a roll cake made with black sponge cake kneaded with bamboo charcoal, wrapped around gently sweet fresh cream and fruit. Enjoy the taste of good fortune and good luck in the comfort of your own home.<\/p>\n

Sapporo Grand Hotel was founded in 1934 under the suggestion of the late Prince Chichibu as a reception room for political and business leaders and a social gathering place for local residents.
