    Venki was founded in the 1800s in Piedmont, Italy by Silviano Venki, who has a passion for chocolate. Silviano's talent for making chocolate look like a jewel was highly praised, and the store gained a reputation as a genuine "chocolate boutique." Officially founded by Venki in 1878. That year was also the year of Gianduiotto, the iconic chocolate of Venki, which is still loved.
